| Frosty's Circus (John Lawsons Circus) - Shoots Garden Centre, Washington, West Sussex - 5 December 2009
The Show: You know you will never be let down by John Lawsons Circus. It has just won the CFA award for best small Circus and even with just an hour show here it beats most if not all of the larger shows I have seen this year. With new and adapted comedy from the CFA award winning Clowns The Popolinos holding it altogether (Popol also acting as ringmaster this season), the show also features Claire and Jasons excellent wild west act (with very impressive new outfits - VERY sexy Claire!), a bright young female hula hoop act, a female balancing act and if you think you have seen tightrope - you haven't! The male who does the tightrope adds a whole new perspective to this art - a definate must see! Claire also comes back to do a solo ariel act on a large butterfly - unique and original! With a classic Christmas sing along with Frosty the snowman at the end with kids coming up from the audience to end the show on a high. Great presentation, great talent and overal just the greatest show... on earth!!!!
Housekeeping: Recorded music, two pole big top with usual well presented lorries. Foyer tent where you can meet Santa after the show and lots of the usual novelties for sale as well as facepainting by Kakehole the clown. | |
